Glassilaun Beach

This panorama photograph was taken at Glassilaun Beach in the north of Connemara late on an August evening in 2009.
Glassilaun is a sweeping beach with golden sands and glistening clear waters nestled in a bay between Tully Cross and Killary Harbour in Co. Galway.

The film Tristan and Isolde directed by Kevin Reynolds was filmed partly on location partly at Glassilaun Beach in 2006.
